Australian based BMX brand Crisp Bros racing built up one of their CBR-01 racing frames for “Project 05”. Project 05 was a collaboration between Trent Powell from Rocket Custom Designs, Steve Ewart and Crisp Bros Racing creating a one off piece of bike art paying homage to Peter Brock’s 05 1984 race car livery. The bike debuted last year (2016) at the 2016 Bathurst Australian Champs. There’s more details about how the “Project 05” all came about on the Crisp Bros Racing website

We love stuff like this when the BMX racing community steps outside the box and does some unique and creative cross promoting. We definitely need to see more of that done over here in the states. We have a ton of great BMX racing brands and the potential is there to do collaborations like these…lets see who steps up to the plate!
