I LOVED that bike and would do anything to have it back again. Many great times on that awesome BMX. I remember going to Ipswich BMX track for the nationals and the Mongoose team had a hard time knowing what it was. I told them it was a Mongoose and they basically called me a liar.. LOL .. Mine came with Mongoose pads, Motomags, Mongoose double clamp stem and the Mongoose factory sticker as well as the Chromoly and Blue Max frame stickers that was only showing the front triangle …

Had two when we were living in Germany in 1983. The first one, someone wanted more than I did and snatched of from the light pole it was chained to. Mom felt sad to see me sad and bought me another before we departed Germany. They sold for $89 at the Shoppette.
