It’s because of the front and these sneakers actually enhance this aspect of Birkenstocks that I’m not a fan of. I own pair of Danner hiking boots that I absolutely love. So much so, that I bought a second pair. Point is , the front is unique in its own way ( like the Birks) and my nephew once asked me “Uncle Brian, ARE THEY SPECIAL SHOES” hahahahahahahahahaLOL and ever since then, I think about that every time I put my Birkenflops on. Ahh man…. I laugh every time I think of him asking that. Anyway, I love Birkenstock shoes, I just don’t know if I’d get these. I don’t dislike them.
