This bike is real nice and oldies are always after my own heart. I completely agree with the updating and converting the yesteryear bikes with better parts and I really like the clash of old and new and the fact that people keep them and then bring them back to life, very similar to the hot rod world or biker world with something simpler but not less eclectic. You’ve got a golden oldie here and it looks amazing and is exactly the kind of bike that draws in the layman like me. It looks cool and I’m sure it rides cool, and is timeless. Thanks J, speaking of Pitbull brakes. You had to have refinished yours , and if I’m wrong …. I apologize. But I’m saying that ONLY because I have never seen them in that color (which also happens to flawlessly flow with the rest of your bike) and the work you did looks factory. I mean beautiful work refinishing them. Dang, I can’t stop looking at the cranks YOU MADE …… I love’em. My dream is to do something similar to what you did except I want to make 4130 VDC cranks. The ones that are split like a V. I’m sure you have an idea of what I’m talking bout but jberg27 on Bmx museum has the ones I want to make on his 83 CHANGA….. just ANOTHER dream of mine…. Anyway I’m rambling….. you my friend have assembled a masterpiece by having a wide verity of parts from so many different companies (that’s probably my favorite aspect of any bike build) and you actually fabricated some of the biggest components of the bike. Super Sick / Super Rad. Good Luck on the bike of the month/year . I think they’re all wicked awsome hahaha.

I LOVE this bike.
The PK Ripper was my first “proper” BMX bike when I was a little kid, race mad..! It was black with gold decals and I loved it so much, but got into freestyle and all that.
your build is a serious weapon. You’ve totally got the blend of old and new parts and the look is just perfect. It really is a thing of beauty. I feel that for me, a large part of the appeal of a certain bike is in the small details, and you certainly do have an eye for those dude.
what else can I say? Gorgeous.
