I wanted to ignite the cardboard with my diabolical foot work but with 2 left feet it was rather difficult so what did I do….. I’ll tell you!!!!! I got my sister to buy my 8 year old self…the most incredible thing EVER. “”ELECTRIC BREAKDANCE”” ….. this album was packed with hits from Newceus, The Grandmaster himself with Melly Mel , Twilight 22 ……. I’m talking about (Jam on it) and (White Lines) blasting through my mind and that wasn’t even the best part because inside was the freshest most boogie down badness ……. Inside was a step by step poster on “HOW TO BREAK”. Popin N Lockin no popin don’t stop… I felt like Turbo but with none of the flair 😂 LOL. It was awsome . I attended Warner elementary school and on our playground was and still is a hill called “Monkey Hill” (it’s steep). We would practice flipping off the mulch piles that were at the top of the hill… needless to say there were a few tumbles down ol’ Monkey Hill 😂 LOL. The idea was if we could do the flips there we could do flips on the cardboard……… let’s just say, some lessons have to be learned the hard way. Word! That’s wassup! Hip Hop was definitely part of the soundtracks to a lot of kids upbringing whether it was intentional or unintentional and it’s great that more people are starting to appreciate it.

When I was a kid growing up in Wilmington DE I experienced HipHop in the skateboarding & BMX world which was no different to me , at least the mentality of us isn’t. I’m trying to think of how HipHop was different for me and my friends and I’ve gotta say DELAWARE was different that way. Every style and genre of music was listened to by everyone. To say my small Delaware childhood was diverse I think is putting it mildly and I’m so happy and proud to think of my childhood like that, I’m very lucky. But it’s no lie when I say our sk8 or freestyle sessions would turn into aggression sessions with Eric B & Rakim’s Follow the Leader and Sip the Juice only to be followed up by FUGAZI’s 13 songs or the Bad Brains , I against I albums. My music was diverse and HipHop was a fun & big part of that. I know I’ll think of other stuff later on. Back to you Billy]]> This was/is really fresh man. The whole collab is dope and bike (I think) came out nice & tight. It’s every thing a klunker should be and then some. Those wheels just set it off and it’s nice to see that this rig is rockin foot brakes. ( that’s just proper) I’ve seen klunkers with v brakes – U brakes – disk brakes and all I see are expensive bikes dressed up like derelict beaters …ACTUALLY hahahaha what I see is. “ Derelicte” as if they were a collab with MUGATU….lol hahaha.. aw man I thought that clever of me🔥aw man I’m on fire lol.
