That is really wild to see in 2024 while knowing its true birth date. I was (I know I’m gonna mess this up) but I believe i was looking at BMX PLUS Jan or Sep of 1996 the other day and there on the cover was the worlds most expensive Bmx’s bike. Custom built titanium jumper with hope disk brake , double top tube front gusset….. and I say that because like this GT ( and this is true with everything I guess) things that come out that are ahead of their time always make me wonder what could have been. GT was where we are now with frame designs…….:a decade ago. Aerospace,,,,, automotive designers have always played and sometimes/most of the time hahahaha succeeded with their designs but I like to think about the bmx bikes that didn’t come to fruition. Those are the bikes that I think are beautiful works of art. I mean that from my heart & soul. (I almost wrote sole) Lol.
