Such a sick build with the OS flare throughout. Great bike with timeless looks and parts. The blue accents are what tie the bike together to overall. Seeing this in person sitting there on a sidewalk would without doubt draw conversation and questions and attention. I like that you kept many era correct parts. I usually upgrade things but seeing this makes me wonder if that’s always a good idea. This rig is dope bro. Anyone who was raised in the 80s-90s would be tripped out to see this beauty out catching a sunburn and blinding passerby’s in the midday sun. 🇺🇸🏁

Can’t believe I forgot the bars! I thought I double checked the list. They are just some chromoly DK bars I got off of eBay. Tried hard but couldn’t find any bully bars to go on it

I just raced this bike in a local “OG” bike race last weekend. I swapped out the pedals for some bigger welgo bear traps. But I left the Excalibur 1 piece cranks on there. My buddy wants me to upgrade them to the redline 3 piece cranks. I’m thinking about it. Or maybe the black widows if I can find a set. . But regardless she runs smooth. I wasn’t fast enough to make the main event though lol. They had a bike show too she got beat out by a prototype jayhawk and serial #1 elf I think. But my red prophecy( #3 bike of year) got best in paint

I love this 1991 Bully Piston because 1991 was the year I graduated high school and close to the year Todd Lyons was riding for the brand out of Florida if I’m not mistaken. Most chromoly and aluminum race bikes, those years, had a wish-bone seat-stay configuration to stiffen up the rear end. Schwinn also created the Aluminum Brian Foster signature “Blue Falcon” which also had this rear end configuration, and I loved it all. This bike is a classic from the chrome frame to the Maxxis “holy roller’ tires, to the “Robinson” threaded fork. I’ll bet this one can still get it with a crank and peddle upgrade.
