The HRV V2 Prototype rear chain stay on this one is textured so I asked him “what add-on, to the rear end, was added?” Nic Long explained that “someone, at Huffy, hand placed each star texture onto the rear chain-stay and then it was painted black” which gave it a kind-of spray-seal protectant textured look. I also took that someone to be his wife potentially who hand placed each star pattern on the rear Chain stay. This classic race bike will never be forgotten in my archive of serious BMX race rigs!
