Not a huge Zeronine fan but this frame is slick. The integrated seat post clamp is a nice touch. I do not like the chain tensioner nor the others on the market that work similarly. Agreed on the brake situation. I can only imagine they have both options for different markets. Kind of looks like it belongs in a big box store as a “high end” kids entry level race bike. I never see bargain race bikes in those stores. Just the same old “Freestyle” bikes with jazzy paint schemes that weigh 40 lbs.

The white one is tapered and the black one is not. Both versions are offered on their website for the same price. The welds look a little rugged. Overall, nice looking forks.

What a beaut. Great job at restoring it. The brake pads are so clear I can’t even see them. 🙂 Can’t see the levers either. Super stealth. A beautiful bike for sure.

The tech is cool. It’s a great looking bike. But……Is it a realistic race bike that would last the rigors of a full season of hard racing? It’s neat for sure. I have my reservations about it being durable. I also question is it too light for the track.

I know Luke. We race together. I’ve seen the bike on the track. It’s a good looking frame with some nice parts. Luke is a very nice guy and is building up a good team of riders. He’s got one of the fastest 51-55 ex riders in the nation currently on his team. I hope his frame makes into production.

Great looking rides. Even though they are almost identical, I like the illtown. Something about the bars and the lay back seat post gives it a smoother look.

Raw frame looks great. 7.5″ rise on the bars? I though I was low with 8″ bars and a flopped stem. Not a huge fan of some of the parts but overall the bike looks well put together.
