The Reality of Cycling in NYC

On this commute I take a few alternate routes back to Queens from Midtown Manhattan. Of course I had a bunch of things to talk about and point out. Like some of the realities of riding a bike in NYC like accepting some of the hazzards of cycling in the city and being prepared for them. I also do a little play by play of what’s going on around me on my ride. And what’s a 12 plus mile commute without a few rants? This time I go on a little rant about E-Bikes and how they are essentially mopeds.

My bike of choice for this ride was the Ozark Trail G2 Rebel which is actually an awesome commuter. It’s starting to make me like drop bars a little more and I’m trying real hard to not put flat bars on it.
