Athens-based DJ/Artist Elena Kazi’s designer toys were featured at Clutter’s Gift Wrapped this past weekend.
One of the Elena’s pieces is an oldie but goodie called LMNTAL which was originally released back in 2016. LMNTAL is a HipHop inspired beat bot figure which incorporates a microphone for its head, spray cans as arms, a turntable for a chest and a record arm as a weapon. The Gift Wrapped edition of LMNTAL had a custom colorway and a mini album — the BBoy classic It’s Just Begun (1972) by the Jimmy Castor bunch.
Kazi has also made a dope, customized NYC version of her BMBOX resin piece with. Of course this joint is heavily inspired by 80’s NYC HipHop culture with its bubble lettering, animal print and flashy color panels.
THIS IS HIPHOP DOPENESS!!
