Today’s Bike Of The Day is a Fate Rat Rod with a OS20 conversion, sent in by Jason Chance! This is a nice clean, black, build with white, red and chrome highlights. I like it! Be sure to give this bike a rating for the February Bike Of The Month and 2021 Bike Of The Year charts.
The inspiration for it (Her name is Black No. 1) was to have the 1st OS20 Conversion from Fate after meeting Matthew Kocher at the 2020 USA BMX Grands and checking out his products. In March 2019 I had a full hip replacement and my goal was to return back to BMX after 30 years off from racing BMX. I did it a year to the day later at Sand Springs BMX in 2020 on my Redline 26” cruiser but I wanted a class bike to fit my 6’ 4” 275lb body and the search was on.
I tried racing my 22” FIT park bike (raced it at the 2020 Grands actually) but it just wasn’t the best for racing due to no racing parts for those type of bikes so the OS20 became my next step. It’s a great build and I hope it can get some recognition for some great products.
