Today’s Bike Of The Day is an insane, one of a kind Grump frame. They took the popular Grump Double Barrel and put a CW Phase-1 Z Fame inspired lighting bolt on the down tube. This amazing build was sent in by Donald Bray from Australia which is also the home of Grump Bikes. When my son was 11 years old and was racing BMX in 1989 i first saw the CW lightning bolt frame and thought that it was cool …so i copied it and added some of my ideas purely to make it look better than the booring normal

shane ,Paul Bray s mate.. in my last comment I mentioned the Grump being “available” they are extremely exclusive as each frame is completely hand made oxy braze welded with an assured technic proven not to break .. good advice to any pro BMX racers this is the bike that will deliver the number # 1 plate as this is why it was designed as the ‘no flex’ bmx no energy was wasted in the flex of the average frame.. also taking into account other frames can break causing fatalities ..
These Grump bmx frame s are result of Don’s back ground in speedway side car racing as mechanic incorporating his experience dealing with theses frames the GRUMP ‘no flex Bmx’ go down in history being the best frames available proven track record by Don’s lad Paul Bray SA 1#- Australia 3 # results
