Doh! Boy - Art Toy Figure by Vectron & Flexx Lex

I love Hip Hop inspired art toy pieces and this mash up between the Simpsons and Boyz N The Hood is pretty fresh. The figure is called Doh! Boy with is a satirical sculpture mashup inspired by Homer Simpson and his famous “DOH” line and the Character Doughboy from Boyz N The Hood. It’s the brainchild of artists Vectron and Flexx Lex, you can check it out now on Kickstarter.

The idea behind Doh! Boy was to merge two cultural cornerstones of the 90’s era — The Simpsons and John Singleton’s Boyz N The Hood — into one tongue-in-cheek homage to the decade’s pop culture legacy. DOH! Boi stands at 10 inches tall and it’s made out of polystone. The figure also features a cap, tan Dickie’s inspired shorts, white socks and flip flops. I thought the Olde English 40 branding was flipped to Olde Springfield was funny too!
