Yo De La Soul is one of my favorite hip-hop groups and one of the greatest groups of all-time. Straight up. I’ve been loving their new album “Cabin In The Sky”. I got a little emotional thinking about Dave (Thank You Dave ) and growing up listening to De La damn near my whole life. I went back and listened to the De La Soul is Dead album. I remember how much I loved “Pass The Plugs” cause of the way they rhymed on it. I had a beat that I couldn’t hear anybody else but De La Soul on, so I had fun with this joint and time traveled back to the early 90’s.You can definitely hear De La Soul’s influence when you listen to my crew Athletic Mic League. Brothers having fun with the music, being creative, and just rhyming. Inspiration! Salute to them brothers forever 🫡~14KT
