A 1999 Dyno VFR BMX bike is today’s Bike Of The Day!! The red and black 20in is a survivor that was pretty well preserved with pretty much all of its original parts. I like the chrome bars and stem combo but I’m not the biggest fan of the Chicago angle of the bars. I definitely would love to see what the bike looks like with the bars more upright, but nice build. I found this oldie on marketplace in pieces and disrepair, but mostly all original. It was garage stored thankfully. This bike was sold out of a shop in SLC, UT in 1999 and the sticker is still on the frame. I never had a Dyno 🇺🇸 so I was stoked to get one. The kids and I removed all the og gear, one piece crank and Dyno 44T two pc five bolt sprocket due to rust but may refurb and replace later. Left the bones in survivor condition scarred decals, dings and patina on purpose. Rims are straight so we left them too. Z Chain was too rusty, and the headset was wobbly. Fully restored everything and updated all items that had to be but left a lot original. I like the restomod approach with the og bones it’s almost a rat-rod of a BMX. Parties like it’s 1999, and rides like a dream. ~Joshua Chandler
