A GT Bump from 2000 is today’s Bike Of The Day and it’s looking fresh! The black, white, blue and chrome color scheme with the bold branding really pops. This GT bump was what lured me back into BMX. I saw it on marketplace in pieces and saw potential. The bike had no brakes, electrician tape grips, rusty black 14mm rims, rusted chrome cranks and sprocket, bars and seat post. It has some updated parts and some originals too. The cranks were the threaded 3pc and were rusted . The seat was original but pad ripped off, and worst of all the .070 GT stamped handlebars were cut so short they wouldn’t fit a brake handle and grips of any size so they went on my sons 12” with training wheels 🇺🇸 and swapped with new SE bars. Fully restored the bike and left the frame and forks in survivor condition on purpose. The patina makes it look tough, and I prefer the scars and story written all over it. Had to polish all the chrome for the rust and it all worked out eventually . Happy to save this from the Motel 6 it came from. ~Joshua Chandler

- Tires- Duro Infection whitewall 20 x 1.75 with Duro tubes
