Roy Washington Jr (@roywashingtonjr) did it again with another sick BMX build!! This time he submitted a 2025 BABS (Bay Area BMXers) 24in V2 racing bike. You can’t go wrong with a black and white color scheme. And you know Roy loves BOX parts so this bike is laced with BOX parts all over. Howard Cato is such an inspiration to me because of his Elite frame presentation, production, and factory team results. Every time I’m at a major @usabmx national, we both show each other love and respect for just being a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
Justin Wike is a former USN soldier and current police officer in Vegas who was stationed in Virginia with me while b in the Hampton roads area. Our closet track was Hampton Super Track where we became good friends. Our families even know each other.
I wanted a replica of the BABS BMX 24″ that Justin won the 2022 worlds on in 2022 in Nantes, France. After some talks with Howard and a conversation on how I know his factory team member, I purchased this awesome frame.
Side Note: I made the 50 & Over Cruiser @usabmx world team in January 2025 at Okeeheelee Bmx that I’m still proud of today. Howard Cato happened to be there which made that Friday so special. ~Roy Washington Jr.
