Spanky “Bat-a-Swing” Designer Toy Figure

The Spanky “Bat-a-Swing” figure from Green Flamingo is pretty dope! The figure features a grumpy little bat with giant sound-blasting ears and a 1930s cartoon vibe. It’s part of a Kickstarter campaign for a rhythm-based platform game.

About the “Spanky Bat – a – Swing” game”:

Spanky “Bat-a-Swing” is a 3D rhythm based platformer, inspired by 1930s cartoons and electro swing music! Enter and explore Metronopolis, where everything and everyone moves and dances on the beat of music. Help Spanky the Bat teach Mayor Metrognome a lesson!

There’s a free demo currently available on Steam

The toy figure is what caught my attention with the big speaker ears. You know my HipHop, beat making, art toy brain goes into overdrive when I see pieces like this. It would be cool if the big ears were actually a working set of Bluetooth speakers. That would take it over the top.

The Concept art for the character comes from Leopoldo Spagna(@helio_art98). Cristina LaSpada(@cri_drawyoursword), created the 3D printing model for the figure and it came out amazing.
