Homeboy Sandman dropped visuals for his latest single with Jack Splash called Weed Stores everywhere! It’s song about how folks continue to do things that’s bad for them when deep down they know they shouldn’t. Like junk for instance. We know it’s bad for us but we still eat it. And it also gets promoted to us on the daily and it’s readily available in stores everywhere. Just like the local weed store. Weed isn’t really good for you either but these days there’s one on every corner. And the public just drinks the Koolaid and goes along believing that those things won’t harm them.
Now the funny part is how Koodaid is actually bad for you too with all that sugar. So the creatively witty video plays with that concept along with the weed store angle. Visually and lyrically this joint is put together very well. Big shout out to Art Morera for always bringing Homeboy Sandman’s music to life visually. And super big shout out and thanks to Homeboy Sandman for keeping Hip Hop authentic and about something! THIS IS HOP HOP!!!
