Back in 2019 after I designed the Sugar Cayne 20in and 24in frames, I decided to design a Dirt Jumper. I’ve always wanted a dirt jumper and since I was already designing BMX frames, I thought I might as well design a DJ. Fast forward 5 years and I was finally able to bring my first dirt jumper to life. This is the first Sugar Cayne DJ Prototype sample and I got it as a complete because I eventually would like to offer it as a complete. But I can’t afford to offer the bike with the top of the line parts so I got it with some slightly above average stock parts. I love the way it came out and I’m super excited to take it to all the spots.
The trails were too wet to ride but I really wanted to ride. So I went to Long Beach Boardwalk for a little distance ride. After that I went to Long Beach Skatepark for a session.
This is the first in a series of videos I’ll be doing with the Sugar Cayne Newbridge DJ where I’ll be testing it out. Stay tuned for more
So far the bike is riding great! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below.
