A Tribe Called Quest ReAction Figures Wave 1 Is FIRE!

The folks at ReAction and Super7 dropped a Hip Hop collectible treat! They recently released A Tribe Called Quest action figure set and it’s FIRE!! This set was inspired by ATCQ’s debut music video for “I Left My Wallet In El Segundo”.

Super7 pays tribute to the critically acclaimed 1990 debut album, People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm with the first-ever action figures of Phife, Q-Tip, Ali, and Jarobi. Their music, characterized by a light-hearted and positive tone, with incredible wordplay, paved the way for hip-hop artists of the time. ~Super7

“I Left My Wallet In El Segundo” marked the beginning of a new era in Hip Hop. There was nothing like it at the time, musically or visually. And the “People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm” album went even deeper with Tribe’s “Hard But Gentile” style of Hip Hop. A LOT Of today’s HipHop artist wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for ATCQ’s contribution to the culture.

I’m loving how the figures actually look like the ATCQ members. But I think they could’ve done a better job Phife. I’d say this is my favorite ReAction Hip Hop figures to date and I’ve been loving the whole series so far. I can’t wait to see the next set they make because there’s A LOT to choose from. Imagine they do a Native Tongues set with all the members and associates in the future, that would be bonkers!
