I was blown away when I saw this 1980 Cinelli BMX bike submitted to Bike Of The Day!! I didn’t even know Cinelli made a BMX bike! So you know I had to feature this one. It’s called the CMX-1 and this is a rare find for sure! I also like how this bike featured a bunch of Campagnolo parts. Big shout out to Lou Genitempo for submitting this historical BMX treat to the series. Make sure you give it a rating via the sliders in the comments.

Only ever saw this “unicorn” in bike mags, never thought I would ever see one live yet own one and as luck would have it found a frame and fork few years ago. The bike being Italian and myself being Italian I decided to go full Italy on it with 100% Italian parts. ~Lou Genitempo
