Riding on the RTE 112 bike lane in Suffolk County Long Island can be very sketchy! And when there’s snow and ice added to the road, things can get bad really quick. But if you have the proper bike for the conditions, you can make a sketchy ride into a fun one.
On this ride I came across some sidewalks with debris, snow, ice and water. There were also cars flying past me in the 50 mph section that’s right next to the bike lane. But hey, it’s all part of the game. I’m gonna ride anyway
