I made a small upgrade on my Ozark Trail Explorer G1 and it made a big difference to the ride quality. Just a simple change from the stock stem to a super short front load stem normally used for a dirt jumper did the trick. I was able to reach the brakes much better and I’m not so hunched over the front end. The front end also feels a lot more ridged.
On this trip from Queens to Midtown Manhattan, I did a little MTB trail and gravel riding in Cunningham Park. And of course, I did my normal Greenway commute to Queensboro Bridge via Kissena park, Flushing Meadow Park, 34th ave and Northern Blvd.
