Nike‘s Air Force 1 Low “What The LA” is making a return this Holiday! The city-themed colorway was first released in 2019 along with the “What The NYC” kicks.
“What The LA” sneakers are inspired by the Los Angeles sports culture, blending colors and materials tied to a bunch of the city’s biggest teams into a pair of kicks. The Purple and gold colors are inspired by the Lakers, while blue, red, black and metallic features get it inspiration from the Dodgers and the Kings.
Other features of the sneakers are leather panels, glossy overlays, contrasting Swooshes and splattered midsoles. There are so many textures and finishes across a single upper and it all kind of works in its own way. “Los Angeles” in script is located near the heels and across the insoles, reeling the overall design back to its city-wide concept without focusing on any official team logos or branding.
