Stay Strong just entered the carbon BMX race frame game with the release of the Grail C.1!! It’s an awesome looking carbon frame with a glaring unique feature to make it stand out from the rest, and that is its seat stays. On the Grail C.1 the seat stay extends past the chain stay. The “dropout” area sees the seat stay make a sharp turn down and back to connect with the chain stay. Of course since it’s a carbon frame this is a one-piece mold and a very distint difference from the other carbon BMX frame offerings out in the market today. So for folks in BMX who lack vision, Yes, there’s still more that can be done with just two triangles. 😉
Now the front triangle is pretty standard and you can see how Stay Strong try to keep a similar look to their aluminum frames. And the Ultra carbon forks look pretty fresh on the bike build photos. Hopefully I’ll get one submitted to Bike Of The Day!!
