Today’s Bike Of The Day is a custom painted 2023 Stay Strong V4 BMX racing bike submitted by Andrew Koehn! There’s a lot of details to see in this paint job and I’m loving it. The mix of colors is wild but it all works. Give this one a rating and let me know what you think in the comments below.
I built this bike for my (now 20 year old) stepson. He just started racing with my younger son and I. Whenever he would fly in and we would go to a race he would need to borrow a bike. I was riding XL and had just moved up to XXL. He borrowed my red pennywise bike for grands (#2 bike of month last month) and got 7th. So I decided he deserved his own and he is taller than me so I found him the xxxl. Since Ryan did such a great job on my red prophecy I asked him if he could do another frame for me. My boy asked for some purple touches and other than that we gave Ryan the canvas. He did not disappoint. Like the red bike, he had a green car in the starbird car show that he thought the green color would go nice to highlight the purple. Since I just went up from an XL I did have a lot of the parts already from a previous build so that did save me some money but I have to say it all came together super nice. My favorite parts are the “lightning strikes” and if you can see it on the head tube it almost looks like thumb prints. But once again pictures don’t give this paint job justice. ~Andrew Koehn
