The crew at We The People are shaking things up with their HAvoc 20″ BMX trail complete. Not only is this bike made specifically for trail shredding, WTP also make it a disc only frame! I think this is the first time I’ve seen a trail specific BMX frame that’s disc only. I’m sure the OG and “hardcore” trail folks will have something to say about that but it. But I think disc only trail frames is actually the natural progression for trail riding. These days, the average trails have gotten a lot bigger, faster and more technical, so having good brakes is more important than ever. And that’s where a bike like the WTP Havoc 20″ comes in.
Taking our hugely popular Chaos Machine aftermarket frame as a base, we wanted to bring a new kind of trail/dirt based complete bike to the masses. Other features to like about this bike is it comes laced with some really good parts for trail shredding. The top tube is decent 21.35 inches for stability and leg room. The chain stay is 14.1in centered which means you can shorten it to a 13.9 or make it longer at 14.6. It’s definitely a good range if you want that longer race/trail feel or the shorter street feel when you pull up for those big gaps.
