A 2004 Schwinn Zforce 20in BMX bike is today’s Bike Of The Day! It was submitted by Joshua Chandler who did a great job restoring this bike. I’ve always love a good red and polished and or chrome plated color scheme. And check out the diamond shaped top tube and down tube. This bike isn’t show grade or race caliber, and may anger the purist but it’s my twist on a restomod of an overlooked BMX. I used it to get my kids into BMX wrenching and customizing blue-collar style so we could ride the blocks in style as a family. My first bike was a Schwinn Phantom I won at the county fair in a jelly bean jar guessing raffle in NorCal (1990). I have been a BMX enthusiast since that day. I have had many bikes since then mostly BMX 20”. I remain biased to Schwinn especially pre-Pacific models, and anything American BMX. I loved the aluminum of this pacific Schwinn and thought it needed a facelift before I restored it for my son. ~Joshua Chandler
