There’s another dope Black Comic Book Day event going down in Atlanta February 16th, it’s called Sankofa and it’s brought to you by the creators of Onyxcon. There’s been a big buzz about this event for a few months now and after the success of The Black Comic Book festival in Harlem I’m sure Sankofa is gonna be bananas! If my budget was right I would goto this event but I’m saving my ends to make it down Onyxcon later this year 4sho! Below is a description about Onyxcon’s Sankofa:

ONYXCON’s SANKOFA event is part of the nationwide/worldwide celebration of BLACK COMIC BOOK DAY(s) in FEBRUARY/BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!! We honor the impact, contributions, and presence of the African Diaspora in the Arts of Comic books/Graphic Novels, Film/TV, Video games, Children’s books, and all related genres and cultures. This event will feature fun contest, prizes, vendors/creators of independent/mainstream comics, novels, toys, games, and related.
