The Steel Panther is S&M Bikes new 100% Chromoly BMX Racing frame. This is the company’s third offering for the BMX Racing world and we’re really diggin it. Some of the improvements from their previous racing models is the additional bend in the seat-stays for greater chain clearance, integrated chain tensioners in drops and a slightly lower stand-over height.
What really sets this frame apart are all the size options. The rear end length varies depending on what size top tube size you get. So if you get a top tube length between 21″, 21.25″ and 21.5″, the chain stay length is 14.4″-15.4″ . If you choose one of the longer top tube lengths (21.75″,22″,23″), the chain stay length is between 14.9″-15.9″. That’s enough options to fix just about every pro size rider.
