Bike Of The Day: Tim’s 1983 Redline Series 3 – 102b

1983 - redline series 3- 102b

Today’s Bike Of The Day is a rare 1983 Redline Series 3 -102b ridden by Tim Schackne! This bike features a sick custom colorway. It’s also the first vintage Redline BMX racing bike to be featured on Bike Of The Day! Be sure to give this bike a rating via the sliders below.

This bike was only available for one year and it was mail order only for just the frame and forks. It was so kids could build a bike with what ever parts they wanted.  So that’s what I did. I built it with super cool parts with my touch of show quality restoration

The frame / forks / handlebars /rims/ were all re powdered in a 2 stage plasmic blue / and multi color metallic flake-

~ Tim Schackne
