Thailand-based artist Fatoh’s newest art toy piece is a celebration of the iconic Thriller music video! It’s called The Thriller Criminal Jacket and it’s a resin art toy inspired by Michael Jackson’s legendary song and music video. Fatoh also got inspiration from Michael’s classic forward lean pose featured in his Smooth Criminal video.
The highly detailed new resin features the singer in a super oversized puffy jacket. Fatoh has a series of art toy figures featuring oversized puffy jackets. I think this one is his best one yet!
Fatoh’s did a great job on the facial details. There’s no doubt that that’s a Thriller era Michael Jackson face. There’s also an alternate werewolf head that can be swapped on the figure and it too has amazing details. Of course the puffy jacket features the same red and yellow colorway as letterman jacket from the video. But Michael’s pants and shoes were inspired by his Smooth Criminal outfit.
Only 18 of the The Thriller Criminal Jacket resin art toy (12″) is available for preorder from Fatoh for €232 (~ $245) The figure includes the two swappable heads, A3 art print and numbered display stand.
