Today’s Bike Of The Day is a sick 1986 Hutch Trickstar! It was built up by Mike Gallo and his did an awesome job on this one. This bike is definitely a show stopper with all that shinny chrome plating! Big shout out to Mike for submitting this iconic BMX freestyle bike!
Be sure to give this bike a rating for the Bike Of The Month and Bike Of The Year charts.
My inspiration for this build came from my love of Hutch trickstars and the whole freestyle movement back in the 1980’s. I used to freestyle for a local bike shop and do shows and one my favorite bikes was my Hutch trickstar. I just loved how it looked and performed and would ride it for hours on end. I always loved chrome bikes so I figured I would build this Hutch trickstar with as much bling as I could. It took me awhile to get it where it is now but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. My Hutch trickstar has some repop parts and some OG but I still love it. I hope to at least bring it to a show or two and definitely cruise it around my neighborhood. I hope you guys like it. Stay Rad.
Over and out 😎
