The folks at Jet BMX made a budget compete race bike for adults with the Accelerator Pro XXL! The bike features a long 21.75in top tube for lots of rider area room. The chain stay is a surprisingly long 15.4 inches. That top tube and chain stay spec is usually reserved for high end pro frames only. Very rarely will you see this on a stock complete bike, let alone a budget one. The Accelerator Pro XXL is basically the exact same one like the Accelerator Pro I posted 4 years ago but it’s just bigger. Not sure how I missed this one. I’m gonna see if I can get one to review if it’s still avaiable.
A Lightweight and dependable Pro XXL sized BMX race bike best suited to adult riders who are looking for affordable Race bike to get them around the track fast. The Pro XXL sizing is best suited to adult riders over 6ft or those who feel they need a little more room on the bike.
The Accelerator is built around a lightweight and durable 6061 heat treated Aluminum frame with Race specific geometry, reliable integrated headtube and a striking decal package. The parts package easily out-performs the price tag and boasts sealed bearings throughout, Tough Cr-mo handlebars, and Tubular 3-piece cranks to transfer maximum power while maintain an excellent strength to weight ratio. The whole package sits comfortably on a set of fully sealed, full size 1.75” wheels with double wall 36 spoke rims and Race specific 1.75” tires.
Like with all Jet’s, all the components use standard BMX sizing so swapping out parts for after-market parts won’t be an issue. If you’re an adult looking for an entry point into BMX racing or a race bike to tear around the local track or pump track then this is for you. ~Jet BMX
