November is heating up with the bike submissions! Check out this 1994 Bully Hotrod sent in by Andrew Koehn! This is a nice blast from the past and it’s looking good. Be sure to give it a rating for the Bike Of The Month and Bike Of The Year Charts!
In 1995 I bought an orange Bully Hotrod off of a guy at the skate park my best friend’s and I started in our home town. (Still stands today only it’s got those blue ramps now). I started working at 12 on a paper route and got a real job at 14. I had put more money into that bike than I did when it came time to buy my first car. In 2000 I was riding dirt jumps in the local wood trails we called OZ when I had a pretty bad wreck. During my recovery time my baby got stolen right out of the yard at my mom’s house.. that was the last time I really rode for 25 years give or take a few. It wasn’t until a few years ago my son picked up a strider and got into racing that I got back into riding competitive as well. However, along the way I have always built bikes and just kind of rode around on them here and there. I always wanted to find my Orange hotrod but never came across one. Then one day this black one showed up. It was pretty rough but I knew with some TLC I could make her rideable. I couldn’t get it quite the same as I had it in highschool but she’s darn close. Since this one I’ve got a red bully burn out ,an impulse ,the chrome and blue piston that made bike of the day two months ago and….. I finally found an orange one too. I’m a bully guy now. Besides a few other brands I’ve came to love ~Andrew Koehn
