Crupi has some new BMX racing treats for 2025! They updated their Catalina frame to the 2.0 edition. The new race Frame which is a hand-built, American Made frame now features an all-new Disc Dropout! No more hub mounted disc brake adapters which is cool! The frame has a proprietary disc brake dropout so you’ll have to use their special Crupi Disc Adapter kit
Crupi is offering the Catalina in 10 frames sizes for riders under 13 years old. There’s also multiple decal colors to choose from which is really cool. I love lots of color options.
Features:
- Built with seamless drawn 6061 T6 Butted tubing
- Tubing is squared off at the ends to provide more welding surface
- Larger diameter square shaped down tubes stiffen and strengthen
- Chain stay tubes are tear drop shaped for a very strong and stiff back end
- 3/8″ (or 10mm) axle slots are parallel to the ground meaning no matter what position your rear wheel is in; the frame geometry will not change
- Thicker 3D drop-outs for extra stiffness when using a Disc Brake which still allow the use of regular chain tensioners for ease of rear wheel installation and rear wheel position.
- All Crupi frames still feature brake posts for use with all V-Brakes
- With Crupi’s new Disc Adapter kit, multiple Hydraulic Disc Brake kits will fit this frame including Tektro, TRP Evo and Slate, and all Shimano kits (Hope, Avid & all Mechanical kits do not fit)
- Must use Crupi’s Disc Adapter kit and 120mm rotor for proper fitÂ
