I Wonder How These Cuadra Kicks Would Handle BMX Riding

Whenever I come across some kicks that look like they would work with flat pedals I like to feature them on the site. These Cuadra premium leather sneakers look like they have good support with those thick soles. And I’m digging the pattern on the outsole; they look like they can grip pedals real nice. The branding on the outsole is a nice touch too.

One of my biggest issues with some of the “BMX” sneakers is there’s not enough sole in them. I wrecked my ankle back in the day on a failed 360 attempt because I had on Sk8-Hi’s. Man those things gave me no real support. That’s why I always preferred Nikes or just kicks that had more sole/support. Basically, I stay away from sneakers where I can feel the pedal spikes coming through them.

So I would be down to try some different kicks like these but they’re pretty pricy at $179!! If I had the budget I’d love to do a real review of expensive kicks like these to see if they could hand BMX abuse. I know these premium leather, Cuadra’s are not meant to be BMX kicks, but neither are skate sneakers lol.
