I recently got my Skyway 50th anniversary T/A frame, fork, bars and Tuff 2 Graphites and was able to get it together this past weekend! I didn’t think I would be able to get it together but I had enough parts sitting around to get it build. I commented today on the Skyway BMX Facebook Page today in response to the comments of my Instagram photo of the bike and it pretty much sums up what I was gonna say on this post so I’ll just paste it here lol:
Actually the bike isn’t finished but I wanted to get some photos of it posted. At first I didn’t think I would like an all black bike. I was going to put some yellow or gold parts on it to go with the decals but I really like it murdered out. A lot of the other parts on the bike I had for years…actually 10+ years lol. The stem, cranks and pedals are 10+ year old but i love the way they look on the bike. And yes that’s not a normal gear ratio lol, I didn’t have a bigger sprocket sitting around the house so I have to live with a 37/16 for now lol. Once I get all the parts I want for my bike I’ll post some updated pics. There are so many color schemes that can be done on this bike. Mine is just one interpretation. I’m looking fwd to seeing other folks builds, it’s fun to check out what everyone does to their bikes
I have to give my awesome sponsor Skyway Machines a huge shout out and thank you for all their love and support and believing in me to represent the company! I’m looking to do even bigger things in 2014 with Skyway, this is just the begining, stay tuned! If your looking to get one of these awesome bikes visit PlanetBMX.com
