You know I love when art and BMX collide and this “Rick And Morty” themed Daylight Arc C-1 is exactly what I’m talking about!! This bike looks so crazy and features so many little details from the popular animated series. Not only is it a work of art that should be on display at a gallery, it’s also a super high end BMX racing bike! Daylight really out did themselves with this one!
Not that we want people to give people the idea that we only do these super exotic, pop culture inspired, ultra high-end builds, but this one turned out just too cool not to share.
Our customer came to us with what seemed a simple request at the time — can you do a “Rick & Morty” bike? With about 15 custom ceramic colors used in the mix, this design was anything but simple. Nearly every part on this bike has been custom ceramic coated — including its list of top line parts from the Daylight Epik carbon rims and Beringer crank set to the Supercross carbon bars and Onyx Ultra disc hub set. In the words of the show’s main character, Rick — “To live is to risk it all—otherwise you’re just an inert chunk of randomly assembled molecules drifting wherever the universe blows you.” At Daylight, we love taking risks like this one and rising to the challenge.
