Huffy recently released their new line of the updated Pro Lightning BMX race completes! Everybody was hyped when I posted a leak about these bikes a few weeks about and now they’re finally here. It’s so awesome to see going full in with their support of all levels of BMX racing. Making affordable completes that you can later upgrade is the way to for bicycle offering these days. It decreases the barrier to entry and gets more people on bikes. But the most important part is having a good quality frame to build on. Also, the looks and attention to details are very important. Make those affordable bikes look just as good as the high-end bikes. I think Huffy is doing a great job with that.

Designed for up-and-coming athletes, the line features Junior, Expert, and Pro complete builds, each priced at an accessible $399.99.
The Pro Lightning bikes are ready for the starting gate right out of the box, which allows racers to jump directly into competition without purchasing a separate frame or custom build. The line offers full flexibility for athletes to swap and upgrade components as their personal riding styles and race practices evolve, backed by Huffy’s legacy of BMX experience and an all-star roster of pro athletes.

The Pro Lightning bikes are easily upgradeable yet arrive ready to ride, with core features including 6061 aluminum frames, mechanical disc brakes, high-tensile steel handlebars, Euro bottom bracket, 3-piece crankset, and integrated headset.
The reintroduction of the Pro Lightning is another milestone in Huffy’s return to BMX, which started in 2024 with the formation of a new team of athletes that now includes Ethan Popovich, Carly Kane, Huck Kurinsky, and Nick Bruce, among many others. The Pro Lightning builds on Huffy’s high-performance BMX range that includes the Sledgehammer Freestyle frame and the Olympic-caliber Primus race frame.
