Ed Ferri of PlanetBMX.com leaked some photos of the new, updated Skyway Street Beat!! There has been talk about this legendary BMX frame getting a modern day upgrade and the folks over at Skyway even released a blueprint of the frame a few years ago. Just recently at the Spring fling we saw a bare, all chrome Street Beat frame and today the PlantBMX.com crew took it out for a test run!!
As you can see in the photos, the frame retains most of it’s original design but with some modern day upgrades like detachable gyro pins and Mid bottom bracket. The decals on the bike are not the one’s that’ll be used in the production. Ed just put some stickers because he “just didn’t like it looking naked.” We hope it comes in it’s many colors and decals from back in the day…..we’ll soon find out!! Big shout out to Skyway and ED Ferri for keeping BMX rad!!
