Huffy Bicycles team manager, vet pro and Olympian Nic Long posted some photos of his final prototype BMX race frame and it looks sick! The HRD N.Long frame has a nice burgundy and black color scheme with with decals. When you look a little closer to the black on the rear end, you’ll see little grey stars. A beefy, solid seat stay bridge has the Huffy “H” on it. This is also a disc only frame so there’s no v-brake mounts.

It looks like this prototype doesn’t have the internal chain tensioning dial like Nic’s previous prototype. I thought that was cool. I wonder why they took it out. The chain stay is super beefy for extra stiffness, thanks to the oversized T47 Bottom Bracket. Of course the head tube is tapered but it looks like the seat tube is not.
Since this is the final prototype, that means Huffy almost ready to put these bad boy’s into production! Awww Yeah!! Come out to the USA BMX Derby Nationals in Louisville Kentucky to check out the frame in person.
